Aftersales Update

Emergency Situations & Emergency Workers First

We are offering to open the business in the case of emergencies and to ensure that we support our Emergency workers and guests in any way possible to keep them safe at this time. Should you have any safety concerns regarding your vehicle at all, please call our team on 0141-773-5317 who will be able to answer your queries and if required, schedule an emergency booking for you. We also have our technical team members on standby who will be able to provide a call back or provide advice over video call.

MOT Update from DVSA

From 30 March 2020, MOT due dates for cars, motorcycles and light vans will be extended by 6 months. This is to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Your vehicle will be automatically given a 6-month MOT exemption. This will extend your current MOT expiry date by 6 months. You will not get a paper exemption certificate. If your vehicle tax is due, you can tax your vehicle as soon as your MOT due date has been updated which will likely be done by the end of March.

If your first MOT was due before 30 March 2020 and your vehicle did not pass your vehicle will not get an extension to its MOT due date. Your vehicle will need to pass a MOT before you can drive it again.

What we have done

We have contacted every guest that was booked in for an MOT in any of our dealerships and if their MOT due before the cut-off date of the 30th March and we have offered them a re-booking date to keep their car legal. 

Aftersales Reminders

We will continue to send our Aftersales reminders to make sure you are able to book your car in to one of our dealerships for when we are open as normal and would ask you to contact our booking line on 0141-773-5317.

 

Sales Departments Online from Home and Lifting Spirits

We have arranged for a number of our colleagues to work from home to help with vehicle enquiries, sales, research for guests and to be honest to be there to chat and keep folks engaged and talking. I have enjoyed seeing how they are keeping spirits high amongst themselves and with guests.
