911 Targa Is Back

911 Targa Is Back

16th January 2014

After a 21 year absence from the market, Porsche are re-introducing the 911 Targa.

The latest design ignores the last iteration of the Targa and features a glass rear window that was last featured on the 911 Targa in 1965. The 2014 Model which made it's debut at the Detroit Motorshow a few days ago brings back the stand out hoop-shaped bar but now features a fully automatic roof. The roof can transform the car while at a standstill in 19 second and is certainly the most complex featured on a car in recent memory. The latest Targa is set to come with 2 different models available; The Targa 4 and the 4S. Both models post impressive acceleration times with the 4S coming in at just over 4 seconds. The Targa models also come with more features as standard that normal 911 including a full leather interior and 7inch colour screen, whilst in the Targa 4S you get a limited slip differential and 20" Alloys Wheels. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in Summer 2014 and for more information you can visit Porsche Centre Aberdeen and preemptively book a test drive in the Porsche 911 Targa.
